+1 on that second pair. I have been watching them to see what they go for.

I have a pair of 291C that I just need some GPA phragms for, and they'll be my 288G's.

Still looking for a mate for my single 288H.

Ever watch Sponge Bob Square Pants? That one driver came from the Crusty Crab Shack. That's got to be the worst condition driver that I've ever seen.

The first set looks like someone rolled them around on a gravel road. That could be fixed with some paint. What's underneath the rear cover is

The first pair of 288G are still sitting on ebay for 1,200$.

The second pair just ended for 677.77$ plus 110$ shipping. Seems like. Decent deal for such nice drivers. The only way to do it cheaper is to buy some 291B/C and install some GPA aluminum phragms.
